Get out of a market you're named in
Nobody can be predicted on without agreeing first. When someone names you, you get a notification and an 'I'm in / Sit this one out' choice on the market. Opting out means nobody can back you — and you never have to explain why.
Report a market or a message
Every market has a Report link at the bottom, and every chat message has one too. Reports are private — nobody in the group is told who reported.
Block someone
Tap Block on any of their messages. You won't see them and they won't see you, anywhere in Vowch. It's silent — they aren't told. You can undo it from your profile.
Pause a market
If you host a market and it's going somewhere bad, Pause stops all new positions immediately. Existing positions aren't touched. Only an admin can un-pause it.
What we already do
- Every market is screened when it's created. Anything about hard drugs, drugging a drink, violence, crime, dangerous drinking or driving contests, or anyone under 18 is refused outright.
- Markets about who someone is are refused — looks, weight, intelligence, mental health, someone's orientation. Roasting what people do is the game; ranking who they are isn't.
- You can't be paid for doing something risky yourself. On drinking, stunt and similar markets you can't back yourself — others still can.
- When we're unsure, the answer is no. Anything ambiguous is refused rather than published.
Vowch is 18+. You play with VP (Vowch Points), which has no cash value, cannot be cashed out, and cannot be exchanged for money or prizes.
